Mumbai: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has accused that the Bharatiya Janata (BJP) party abuses the Central Institute and Senior Leader Eknath Khadse will come out of the investigation.
On Thursday, Khadse appeared in front of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the probe into the case of money laundering.
A day ago, his son-in-law Girish Chaudhari was also arrested by a federal agent.
Reacting to developments, the Minister of Cabinet and NCP President Maharashtra Jayant Patil said that BJP misused the central agency because the former Minister of Revenue was given into the party.
Patil added that Khadse was innocent and had no proven allegations, added, “he had not made a mistake, so he would get out of the investigation.
Central agencies tried to bring him in trouble.” The NCP leader also claimed that BJP’s anger against OBC Khadse leader was very old and they did not let him grow at their party (BJP).
Khadse said that the land deal of Bhosari (in Pune) was a personal transaction between his son-in-law and personal owner and there was a conspiracy to defile it.
