Mumbai: Tension on the possibility of the Alliance between BJP and Raj Thackeray-LED MNS deeper on Saturday with senior leaders Devendra Fadnavis and the President of Maharashtra President Chandrakan will reply to replies.
While Patil was in New Delhi to meet the Ministers of Union Amit Shah and other senior leaders, Fadnivis Opposition leader Gorif said the Safron Party would only have one machine to oppose the 2024 general election.
The train engine was a symbol of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS ).
Speaking to reporters at Pune, Fadniv said, “Patil has clarified his position and party attitude regarding the possibility of pre-polling alliances with MNS.
However, BJP will only have one machine ahead of the poll of 2024 (general).” Fadnivis, former Ministerial Minister, no Describe whether he intends to join MNS or go alone in a public poll.
Responding to queries in speculation that Patil might be replaced as Head of BJP State, Fadniv said, “This party is fine under Patil’s leadership in the state and all leaders with him.
There is no talk about changing leadership in the current state of the state”.
After meeting with the head of the MNS at the last residence in Mumbai on Friday, Patil said the alliance was not on the current card.
The meeting, however, sparked speculation about the possibility of a bond as the election of the Mumbai Civic body due next year.
“Raj told me that he did not hold a grudge against non-Marathi people who lived in Mumbai.
We still have some political differences and no proposals to join their hands in front of the polls today,” said Patil.
On Saturday, Patil told reporters in Delhi, “I am here to tell the senior party leaders about the meeting with Raj Thackeray.
Every decision will be taken by these leaders.
Senior leaders must consider national interests too”.
Before Patil, Fadnavis and the former Mumbai President of BJP, Ashish Shelar separately held a meeting with Senior BJP leaders including the Minister of Home Department Amit Shah.
When asked about this meeting, said Patil, “it is common on the side that leaders visit Delhi separately.
There is nothing too much to read into it.” Patil was accompanied by other leaders from Maharashtra including RAM Shinde, Jaykumar Rawal, Shrikant Bharatiya and Sanjay Kute.
BJP has stated that it is not allergic to any party as far as it rides the pre-polling alliance but with the condition that their political stand must match.
Several leaders at BJP have the view that MNS is not touched as long as it soften its anti-migrant holder.
Shiv Sena has been in power in Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for more than three decades.
In Mumbai Civic 2017 polls, BJP contested separately and won 82 out of a total of 227 seats.
MNS has won seven seats but six corsators then joined Shiv Sena.
Sena won 97 chairs and Congress 31.
Speaking to the media in Pune recently, Raj Thackeray, who took the hard anti-northern Indian line after leaving Shiv Sena more than 15 years ago, said he would not change his political attitude to benefit Election.
