Panaji: Porvorim Mla Rohan Khaunte on Tuesday said the government did not have the right to continue and demand the resignation of the Chair of the Minister of Pramod Sawant.
He said that the Presidential Rules must be applied in the state.
MLA Independent said that it was not an opposition that had leveled allegations against CM but former Governor of Goa Satya Pal Malik, who had “connections with RSS”.
“The ministerial chairman must be Anggun to resign or BJP must dismiss him along with other ministers involved in corruption,” he said.
Khaunte said that during the interaction with Malik when he was the Governor of Goa, he had “said that he had never seen a corrupt government.” “Through Interview Malik once again confirmed how deep this government was involved in corruption practices,” he said.
