BJP oppose the concept of social justice: akhilesh yadav

Lucknow: Join the opposition parties in attacking BJP in the middle for saying not to the caste census, the national president of the Jamajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday said it was mainly because the government did not want to give other back castes (OBC) the basis of their population ratio.
“The BJP government refuses to entertain OBC’s increasing demand to get the caste census.
It only stipulates that the Saffron Brigade does not want to offer OBC which is in accordance with their ratio in the population.
This proves that BJP oppose the concept of social justice,” Akhilesh said.
The SP head statement came on the day when the leader of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and opposition leader at Bihar Tejashwi Yadav wrote to Chief SP and 32 other politicians in fresh encouragement with demand for the caste census.
On Friday, BSP Mayawati president also attacked the BJP government because he rejected the caste census idea stating that it was a process of “administratively difficult and complicated”.
Previously, Akhilesh had announced that he would get a caste census carried out on priority if SP was chosen to power in 2022 assembly selections.
He said BJP came out to deny because OBC was like they did to farmers.
Akhilesh said BJP was afraid of getting a caste census that was done because it would prove that OBC and Dalit were still among the most deprived of the country and the government least cared about their welfare.
He also attacked the government for injustice stacked to farmers throughout the country.
“Their income has not doubled as promised by BJP.
Instead, the price of fuel and electricity has increased the manifold to eat to their profit margins,” he said.
