New Delhi: BJP highly protested the resolution transferred by AAP MLA in Delhi Assembly on Thursday faced by Delhi.

The pursuit of the appointment of Rakesh Asthana as’ Unclutional Assembly’Delhi adopted a resolution and expressed a strong disapproval of Asthana’s appointment as police chief Delhi and directed the government to convey to MHA that the Asthana appointment order was withdrawn.

Ramvir’s opposition leader Singh Bidhuri said the appointment of the new police commissioner did not violate the direction of the Supreme Court because the appointment was carried out only after Asthana was given a one-year extension by the central government.
“The appointment is in all parameters stipulated in Government Regulations and in the coming days Delhi will witness that the legal-and-command situation will improve and the police will crack down on criminals and corruption,” Bidhuri said.
This resolution also underlines that Delhi Police CP POS belongs to AGGOUT IPS CADRE.
“The appointment of controversial Gujre cadres officers, who have faced several questions about serious accusations in the past, will only bring Delhi police into controversy,” the resolution was stated.
Defending the appointment of 1984 Batch Batch officers who originally came from Gujarat cadres, Bidhuri said that Asthana had served the nation and the troops she did during the conflict and full determination.
