BJP plays double over the problem of Mekedatu, said Kamal

Coimbatore: Makkal Needhi Maiam Chief Kamal Haasan on Tuesday accused BJP with a double-acting on the problem of Mekedatu.
On the last day of two-day visit in the city, Kamal said the BJP unit from Tamil Nadu and Karnataka might be different in terms of names, but both were controlled by the central government.
Claiming as the only actor in this country that has acted in many films in a double role, Kamal said he could quickly identify those involved in multiple actions.
In the problem of the Congunadu, he called it a political slogan rather than a must.
“We can consider whether it is a demand from political parties, but from a company,” Kamal said referring to BJP.
Previously there were East Indian companies (EIC) and now the North Indian company was being made.
But people won’t let this, he said.
“If you put your hands on our shoulders by ending the country as a country, we will celebrate you.
But if you cheat resources by giving it to private companies, you can only be called companies like EIC.
There is no state will support exploitation like That, “he said.
He said the government did the best on Covid outbreaks, but needed to do more.
He said there was no loss at the party with exiting the former Vice President of the Mahendran Party who joined DMK.
Mla Compan from Coimbatore South lost in constituencies, he said.
