Kolkata: Former Bengal Secretary General BJP Sayan Basu, which has been expelled from the party’s State Committee on Wednesday, leaving for Bankura on Thursday, quoting “personal work”, even when the country’s leaders struggled to explain to BJP brass in Delhi.

“We are close to winning at least 10-15 more seats.
I have not discussed this issue, but the land report from board members suggests we will win more chairs that polls are free and fair,” said Ghosh, who also attended the meeting.
The leaders insisted that the continuous attack on BJP workers was proof that the party was the main trinamool rival in the state.
