PANAJI: BJP President JP Nadda will visit Goa on July 12 and July 13 where he will hold a meeting with various party wings, a senior country leader said on Saturday, adding a direct focus of the ruling party was to strengthen the organization in front of the poll assembly due next year.
Nadda will be accompanied by the Secretary General of BJP National B L L Santhosh and the state of the Goa responsible for C T Ravi, who will also oversee the party’s readiness for the 2022 Assembly election, due in February.
The President of the BJP Goa Sadanand Shet Tanavade unit said the party was ready to face the election anytime, even tomorrow.
“Nadda will hold a meeting with various wings of party organizations, the Legislative Party, President and General Secretary of the District Committee, in different Mujid accusations, social media cells and others,” he said.
Tanavade said the BJP direct focus was to strengthen the organization.
“The party hasn’t decided on a ticket allocation because the election is still six months away,” he added.
He said the BJP parliamentary council will complete candidates after conducting a survey in their respective constituencies in the 2017 poll, BJP has won 13 out of a total of 40 assembly seats, while the Congress has 17.
BJP, however, has succeeded in forming the support of Goa Party Forward (GFP ), Gomantak Maharastrawadi Party (MGP) and two independently with Manohar Parragar as Minister of Chief.
