Thiruvananthapuram: Treats more resistance to the state government’s decision to continue with a controversial K-Rail project, the BJP state unit will arrange protests in the 13 district centers on Saturday.
Secretary General of BJP George Kurien on Friday said that protest programs will be held on November 20 in all districts but Kozhikode.
State President BJP K Surendran will inaugurate protest programs planned in Kozhikode on Sundays.
He will also discuss protest programs in Palakkad on Saturday.
Other leaders will lead protests at the district headquarters.
Kurien said BJP has expressed support for anti-k-rail protests from the start and will continue to oppose the government’s plan.
“K-Rail is not a project that will provide assistance to the poor.
Project, if it appears, will drag the country into a debt trap,” he said.
