Mumbai: Bharatiya Janata Party Workers (BJP) on Friday protested outside various train stations in the city and re-demanding suburban train services for all.

The suburban train has been forbidden for ordinary commuters since the Covid-19 pandemic began last year.
After the first wave Covid subsided, commuters were allowed for hours to travel by train but with the emergence of the second covid wave, the train was once again forbidden for passengers.
Only a few important worker categories are permitted to travel by local trains throughout the pandemic.
BJP has demanded that travel train be allowed because it is not only economical but also a faster travel method.
