New Delhi: In Churn’s leadership in West Bengal, BJP on Monday replaced his country’s president Dilip Ghosh with a member of Lok Sabha Sukanta Majumdar.
Ghosh, who is also a member of Lok Sabha, has now made the National Vice President BJP.
In a statement, the party also announced the appointment of former Governor of Uttarakhand Baby Rani Maurya as his vice president.
The decision to replace Ghosh was present after a series of defections in the Bengali Party unit, with several MLA and group leaders to the Trinamool Mamata Banerjee Congress.
Last week, BJP MP from Asansol Babul Supriyo was the leader of the latest party to switch to Trinamool.
Supriyo recently announced his decision to quit active politics but continued to represent the Safron Party as a legislator.
Previously in June, the BJP leader beat Roy back to TMC.
BJP has received a decent advantage during the April-May assembly selection in Bengal this year, increasing the counting of its seating from 3 in 2016 to 77 in 2021.
However, failing to drop TMC Mamata-LED despite launching the Blitz campaign inexhaustible.
