Villupuram: On the day when several leaders of the BJP State slammed former Minister of AIADMK C Ve Shanmugam for his statement that the Safron Party was responsible for the disaster of the AIDMK poll “as a minority chose the Alliance”, Coordinator of AIDMK O PanneerSelvam and coordinator with Edappadi K Palaniswami released a statement that released a repeat statement That the alliance formed for polls will continue and the loss of selection is only 3% of the vote.
The shared statement came a few hours after O Panneerselvam – in a tweet where he marked PM Modi, Amit Shah and JP Nadda – said AIDMK had full confidence in BJP and PM and there was no second opinion about the continuation of the Aiaadmk Alliance -BJP which became the interests of the nation and for Tamil Nadu’s welfare.
It all started with Shanmugam’s speech at a party meeting at Villupuram on Tuesday where he said people did not want DMK to form the government and M Stalin to become CM.
“The main reason for our defeat is our alliance with BJP,” he said.
BJP senior leaders took to Twitter on Wednesday to express their displeasure.
“Actually, on the contrary,” Tweeted Actor and BJP Leader Khushbu Sundar.
“We also think ‘it’s because of you’,” Senior Leader BJP K T Raghavan Tweeted in Tamil.
Raghavan believes that the Safron Party has formed a government in many states and at the center with minority support.
Raghavan said BJP had analyzed the results of the poll.
“Our party feels that the four-year performance of the AIADMK government might be the reason for defeat.
We want to uphold the Alliance Dharma.
We have never go public to blame alliance partners.
Comments of former ministers are not acceptable.
We believe their party’s orders will provide the right explanation of the problem This, “Raghavan said.
Shanmugham when talking partymen said, “The main reason for our defeat is our alliance with BJP.
Minorities cannot accept our Alliance with BJP as the principle and ideology is completely different.” He said he himself lost to DMK candidates of 14,000 odd votes of Villupuram’s constituency which has 20,000 minority sounds.
He showed that the difference in voting between DMK and AIDMK was a small 3%, about 13 lakh sounds.
“Five swing or six sounds lakh could change the results of the poll,” he said.
