Following the script written in New Delhi, Kupani proposed the name Bhupendra, which was seconded by Deputy Chief of the Minister of Nitin Patel in the presence of central party observers.
Bhupendra, 59, a former Gujarat CM maid and Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel, rose several top party leaders from the CM race.
He will now lead BJP into the crucial assembly poll scheduled for December 2022.
Bhupendra, which is an anandiben nomination of the Ghatlodia Constitution Ahmedabad after he empties seats in 2017, meeting the Governor of Acharya Devvrat on Sunday night to guide the government.
He went to the governor after 111 BJP legislators carried out it as their leader in Swanam, the BJP Negara headquarters on Jalan Raya Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar.
