New Delhi: BJP is set to defend Uttar Pradesh with a comfortable majority in the Selection of the State Assembly because early next year, several polstrat polls have been projected.
BJP is projected to win 239 to 245 of 403 seats, with the Samajwadi party completing a second distant with seats 119-125, although more than double tally 2017.
BSP is projected to lose a significant share of his voice for SP and BJP and finish third with About 30 seats, while the Congress can end up five to eight seats, not very different from the seven it was won in 2017.
If the projection changed to be accurate, Yogi Adityanath will be the first lead Minister at Uttar Pradesh to serve two consecutive terms.
The poll indicates strong support for the Yogi government’s hard-line approach to law and order and, at a lower level, for its legal route to fight ‘forced’ conversion.
However, the citizenship amendment law, however, the opinion is more divided, with almost half of the respondents to see the Yogi government’s defense as an effort to promote communalism.
Polling also shows that the BJP charges of “Muslim appeasement” against SP and Congress have found resonance among respondents.
The opinion poll was conducted between November 6 and November 10 with a sample size of 9,000 respondents.
The margin of error for data is 3% with a 95% confidence interval.
