Lucknow: After the Samajwadi party dented in BJP by winning the former Cabinet Minister Swami Prasad Maurya, Dara Singh Chauhan, Minister of State Dharm Singh Saini and several MLA on his side, BJP is now ready to return.
According to the source, BJP has focused on the prominent faces of the Jamajwadi Party and the Bahujan Party and the Senior BJP leaders have also remembered their induction.
“There are several leaders who demand tickets.
Their fate has not been decided,” added the source.
The biggest catch for BJP will be a SP leader from the East District near Ayodhya, he said.
Leaders enjoy certain community support, which can affect the results of election in the district.
BJP is in the back foot here after failing to take advantage of the loss of BSP.
The source said BJP was also in talks with a leading SP leader from the Kannauj-Farrukhabad belt.
According to the source, if the talks realized, the induction of this leader would definitely be the main dent for the Yadav clan because he was said to have closeness to senior SP leaders.
Likewise, BJP was also in talks with former cabinet ministers in the BSP government.
His induction is in the final stage and the ball is now in the BJP court.
BJP leaders were also in talks with a old BSP leader, who influenced Dialship.
He has worked with the Bahujan party worker with the grassroots for more than two decades now.
If he comes to the BJP camp, it will be a big advantage for BJP in his dalit outreach.
BJP leaders are also believed in talks with former IAS officers, who, according to sources, are willing to join the Safron camp.
This induction tends to start from Sunday.
The IAS officer was very strong about a decade ago during the BSP regime.
The BJP strategy is not only to make dents in other party camps but also to bring leaders whose influence can add value to the BJP traditional voice bank.
“Join Naresh Saini from Saharanpur and Yadav Harioms from Sirsaganj strengthen the BJP strategy,” said a source.
