Gandhinagar: In the midst of a regular interval speculation for leadership changes in the Gujarat government, BJP President of CR Paatil said that the party would oppose the 2022 assembly election under the leadership of Minister Vijay Rupani and Deputies.
The statement was made after the host ceremony of the flag at the BJP Kabar Head Office on Sunday.
When asked about speculation of changes in leadership in the state government and releasing Vijay Rupani and Nitin Patel, he said, “Both (Kupani and Patel) work towards the growth of Gujarat with full force and we will oppose the 2022 elections that will come below them.
Only leadership.
“However, even though Paatil made a statement that the BJP would carry out the next assembly selection under the leadership of Rupani alone, speculation did not end with a political circle.
People refer to Kupani’s own statement like BJP President when the media used to ask about Patel Anandiben leadership.
On several occasions, Kupani was on the camera said that Patel Anandiben would continue like CM and he did not choose CM Post.
