BJP workers snapped with police in Kolkata

Kolkata: A fight broke out between BJP activists and police outside the party headquarters in Jakarta on Monday after the Saffron camp worker was stopped from taking a demonstration to protest the alleged violence during the election of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
BJP’s opposition demanded the cancellation of “the violent civilian body violence” which was held on Sunday and announced that they would carry out protest programs throughout the state and arrange demonstrations in the city during the day.
City police install barricades outside the BJP office since morning.
Police said the Saffron party did not have permission to take a rally.
Like the protesters began to march, they stopped outside the party office, which leads to a fight between the police and activists.
Police detained several party workers and leaders.
“Every time BJP wants to take any rally, we are rejected permission by quoting Covid norms.
We have announced yesterday that we will protest violence in civilian polls,” said the state of the Vice President of Jaiprakash Majumdar.
The left parties and Congress also held protests near the State General Election Commission office here against the alleged violence in the civilian polls.
Sporadic violence incidents, including throwing bombs in two cubicles, damaged by KMC elections even more than 63 percent of nearly 40.5 lakh voters carried out their franchise.
