BJP’s biggest party in Maha Civic poll

Mumbai: BJP on Wednesday appeared as the largest single party after winning 384 out of 1,649 seats in the election of Pancar Nagar recently held in Maharashtra.
Previously on that day, Chandrakan Chief Patil State BJP claimed that his party had emerged as the only biggest political force in the state and could lead 24 Panchayats Nagar.
The State Election Commission (SEC) on Wednesday night said the results stated that BJP had won 384 seats, followed by NCP with 344 seats.
In accordance with the SEC data, Congress has won 316 seats, while Shiv Sena, who currently has a ministerial post, which is managed with only 284 seats.
A total of 206 independent candidates also won in this election, stated.
The sound count of nine Panchayats Nagar from Gadchiroli Regency will be held on Thursday, SEC.
Speaking to reporters here the previous day, Patil claimed, “the selection was held for 106 Panchayats Nagar in the state, where BJP had won more than 400 seats.
We were in a strong position to lead 24 local bodies and we needed support from several Corporator to force claims in six other cities.
“Even though it did not have power in the state for almost 26 months, BJP had managed to record such success, he said.
“This shows that the network of party workers and local leaders we can provide good results without the support of the strength or government resources.
Shiv Sena received the position of minister’s head, but struggled to remain in third or fourth position in this election.” Said Patil.
“Head of Minister of Uddhav Thackeray seems to be satisfied with his position.
He cares less for his party leaders or parties, because they lose land throughout the state.
The situation has benefited NCP,” he said.
BJP leader further claimed that dissatisfaction among the leaders of Maha Vikas Aghadi was seen, and therefore, they suffered in this local poll.
“BJP has benefited to a certain extent.
Some of our leaders will hold meetings in various parts of the country for introspection,” he said.
The party will hold a meeting in all districts in front of polls for 20 city companies and 282 local agencies in the next two months, Patil said.
Former Minister of Man and BJP leaders from the Bed Pankaja District Pankaja said, “The MVA government flip in the OBC quota ahead of this poll has disappointed people.
The three parties experienced a setback because they did not fight strongly for OBC.”
