Mumbai: Twenty fresh springs registered by Mumbai police between Thursday and Friday with respect to BJP Jan Aashirwad Yatra.
The charges are mostly related to locking violations and has been slapped against the organizers and activists.
Previously, 19 registered FIR needed a total of 39 cases.
Ghatkopar and Khar Police Station each recorded two cases, while Mulund, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Pantnagar, Santacruz, Powai, MIDC, Saki Naka, Meghwadi, Goregaon, Charkop, Borivali, Vanrai, Kurar, Dahisar and MHB Police Station Coloni recorded one Every case.
“We will identify the defendant and serve them with notice,” said a police officer.
The leader of BJP Narayan Rane and Devendra Fadnavis participated in Yatra.
Many opposition leaders objected to the rally considering the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
