NEW DELHI: Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Friday questioned the”seat-sharing” agreement between SAD and BSP for meeting polls in Punjab following year and searched clarity regarding the”Panthik” chairs given to Mayawati’s costume to competition.
“There are just two parties that have formed an alliance.
We have no idea about how they are going to competition, same emblem or not.
There were a few negative opinions about the alliance also.
1 party said another one was awarded some panthik chairs,” he stated in a media conference also added,”I am a proud Sikh and believe the whole property of Punjab is sacred and Panthik.” Without any title, Puri called SAD providing’Panthik’ (pious) chairs like Anandpur Sahib and Chamkaur Sahib, leading Sikh pilgrim centers, to BSP.
In addition, he revived an offer of conversation with agitating farmers.
“The PM and the authorities have made it clear if there are any doubts, then they are prepared to sit farmers,” he explained.
He had been accompanied by celebration spokesperson Sambit Patra, that explained that the announcement of a farmer needing to platform self immolation was a heinous episode and must be probed by bureaus.
