Hyderabad: Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President of Bandi Sanjay on Saturday started the Praja Sangrama Yatra (Marathon Walkathon) from the heart at the Bhagyalashmi Temple, which stands next to one of the four main columns of the Charminar Monument.
“As part of the Praja Sangrama Yatra, I offered a special prayer to Sri Bhagyalakshmi in the old city and started my Yatra with a thanks to God, support the cadres and encouragement of my helpers,” Sanjay said.
The old city of Hyderabad echoed to the singing of ‘Bharat Ki Jai’ as hundreds of BJP supporters descended on the venue as the Head of the BJP of the State above Sinyat.
Sanjay and Secunderabad MP Kiswan Reddy decorated Patel Patel Sardar Vallabhai with Garlands as part of the program began.
As part of Walkathon, Sanjay, who is also Karimnagar MP will be crossed through six Hyderabd regions on Sunday: Mehdipatnam, Toli Chowki, Shaikpet, Golkonda Fortress, Langar Houz and Bapukhat.
