HUBBALLI: Physicians in North Karnataka have seen a growth in the amount of patients afflicted by Covid-19 contracting mucormycosis or black fungus disease. One of the hospitals which have observed a spike in the amount of mucormycosis instances is that the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) at Hubballi, in which, according to Friday, 70 patients had been treated to its black fungus disease.
