The Marvel Superhero Movie sequel ‘Black Panther’ turned off production for at least one month to allow the star Lelitia Wright to recover from injury, Hollywood publications reported on Friday.
Wright, who played Shuri in a black superhero dominated, suffered an injury in August during the action and needed more time to recover, said Hollywood reporter.
The nature of the injury has not been revealed but initially described as a minor.
A disney spokesman said production on ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ will pause Sunday 22 November and is expected to be continued at the beginning of 2022.

Termination in production is not expected to influence the release of the film, which is scheduled for November 2022.
Wright, 28, plays genius tech and sister at the deceased Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa in ‘Black Panther’, one of the biggest films of 2018 with a global box of $ 1.3 billion.
Boseman did not reappear after his unexpected death from cancer by 2020.

Wright is expected to take a bigger role in the sequel even though the plot details have not been revealed.
Hollywood reporter said filmmaking continued with the scene and other actors after a Wright injury in August but director Ryan Coogler had shot all the files capable of his crew without Wright.
