Blackouts for hours, relying on a set of DG, say the residents of BPTP

Gurgaon: Residents of the BPTP municipality located in Sector 37D have a terrible time because of the frequent blackouts in the community for the past week.
According to residents, the power failure continued for hours during the period, forcing them to depend on the set of DG.
They say this not only causes additional burdens in their pockets but also harm the environment.
Further residents say that developers and electricity departments do not want to overcome their concerns despite repeated applications.
PK Naithani, President Park Serene Rwa, said, “For the past seven days, we have faced blackouts for hours.
Since Friday, there is no power supply for the next 39 hours.
Similarly, the power supply was cut off at 11 am at 11am Wednesday that can be returned only at around 4:30 p.m.
on Thursday.
During this time, power failure not only causes discomfort for residents but also greatly contributes to the air and noise pollution when the set of times continues to roar and pump the gas that pollutes into the environment.
“Other residents of Sameer Chaddha said on Wednesday, due to heavy rains, their society was flooded and because there was a lack of water disposal management, as a result, the power cable was exposed to humidity which led to blackouts.
Meanwhile, Vipin Yadav, SDO (DHBVN) said, “There are no mistakes from our side and disorders can occur due to local errors at the community level.” When contacted, the developer said that water logging caused by unprecedented rain was the result of a disappropriate for water master storm drainage needed to be built by the authorities concerned.
