Jaipur: A 28-year-old man died when his earphone exploded on Friday night at his Udaipuria house in the outskirts of the city.
Rakesh Kumar Nagar has connected his headphones to his cellphone who is charging.
The explosion threw a nagar from his chair and he fell unconscious on the ground before he was taken to the nearest private hospital.
Dr.
L Rundla said Nagar did not realize when he was taken to the hospital.
“He might die from a heart attack, which is very common in such cases,” Rundla said, added that the victim had a wound in his ear because of the explosion.
The deceased family did not submit any report with the local police, because post-mortem could not be done.
However, a police officer from the local area, who had gone to the same hospital to attend some work, told TII on anonymity requirements that the earphone looked connected to a cellphone that was charging.
“There was confusion about how the earphones suddenly exploded.
He was alone in the room when the incident happened so that no one could strengthen it.
His cellphone might be connected to an electrical outlet, or earphones might have been directly connected to the computer,” the official said, adding that Nagar’s father was also present at the hospital on Thursday.
The deceased is preparing for a competitive exam and recently married.
He was preparing for the government recruitment test through online learning courses and spent most of his learning in a small room located on his family’s farm.
