NEW DELHI: The two suspects in the case concerning the small explosion nearby Israeli embassy here on January 29 this season had shot two rounds of the burst site daily, as obvious from various collections of CCTV footage released by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday, seeking assistance from the people to spot them.
Both suspects seem to have planted the bomb at the very first round, although the CCTV footage released from the NIA doesn’t catch the action.
They implanted it before walking into a safe space, maybe a nearby street, just to return into the burst website around 15-20 minutes after having an outer coating of the clothes.
The next trip to the bomb site was maybe to trigger the explosion, even although sources said that this remains an issue of investigation.
It’s also being probed as to the reason they eliminated their jacket/sweater prior to returning into the explosion site, although it is apparently an effort to seem like different folks and prevent distress.
Resources told TOI that the 2 suspects allegedly abandoned the burst site in an autorickshaw.
The NIA has released video footage of 2 suspects and announced that a total amount of Rs 20 lakh cash reward for any individual who shares data that contributes to their own arrest and identification.
