PANAJI: While last year around 50% of private huts opened for business, it was not clear how much would be opened during the upcoming season.
The operator was upset because it was released from their request, they were not given relaxation in last season’s costs, and there was no chance to get help this year too.
“There is so much uncertainty that the operator has decided to wait and watch for some time before deciding whether to arrange huts or not,” said Property Property Property President Dharmesh Saglani.
Usually, more than 500 huts were erected in a private room along the beach belt during the tourist season.
This is the addition of beach huts allocated by the government on the coast.
The last two seasons proved Dud for both.
“Even mining dependents get help, but we haven’t.
The previous two seasons are very bad, and some relief from the government will help,” Saglani said.
While the private hut set up post-monsoon shops, he said, at present, the flow of tourists is limited and even the hotel has a residential below average during weekdays, but the scene will change if the charter starts.
For this, the state government must pursue the center to allow international commercial flights.
Stakeholders of tourism in North Goa, said that not all owners operate their own huts.
This is a trend to hire a hut.
The number of locals who do business dropped.
“Obviously, due to the deterioration, those who rent cannot guarantee good prices for their huts.
Rent because they have other businesses such as taxis and guest houses to be guarded, but some just want to make it easier,” a stakeholder, who does not want to be identified, said .
The cost of setting the hut is mostly the same as the beach hut, but there’s no need to do it well.
Those who have a good location attract a good business, while some have become cool hanging out for years because of the food and the atmosphere they provide, he said.
“Finally, all depends on footsteps.
We pray for a decent season,” he added.
