Washington: US Secretary of State Tony Blinken spoke with the Minister of India’s external affairs Jaishankar on Thursday for a chaotic situation in Afghanistan.
The Taliban took control of Afghanistan on Sunday.
Their sudden victory, who came when the US withdrew from the country after the 20-year war, had triggered chaos at Kabul airport, from which America and allied countries were trying to safely evacuate thousands of residents and allies.
“Secretary of Blinken and Minister of Jaishankar discussed Afghanistan and agreed to sustainable coordination,” said a US State Department spokesman who was said in a call reading.
