Blinken to consult with partners as Taliban form the Afghan government

Doha: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will hold talks in Germany on Wednesday with countries shaken by Afghan withdrawals when the Taliban announced a new government of hardline.
The top US diplomat flew out of Qatar, the largest transit center in the large air from Afghanistan, to tour another processing hub for thousands of Evakares in US Airbases in Ramstein, Germany.
Blinken will meet at Ramstein with Germany’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Heiko Maas before they underwent a ministerial virtual 20-nation meeting on the way ahead in Afghanistan.
The United States is likely to try to support international pressure on the Taliban to fight for their commitment to let Afghans go freely if they choose.
Talks can also bring coordination on how to deal with the caregiver government announced on Tuesday, which does not have female or non-Taliban members and includes domestic ministers who are united by dealing with charges of terrorism.
The United States said it was “worried” by the government makeup, but would judge it with his actions.
US officials have emphasized that any official recognition of the Taliban government remotely.
Germany, like many US ally, has celebrated the victory of President Joe Biden for Abrasive Donald Trump and new administrative emphasis on working with all over the world.
But even a number of close allies have been critical of how Biden ends the 20-year war in Afghanistan, which leads to a government-backed government destroyed in a few days.
Armin Laschet, leader of the ruling party and German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s candidate to replace it, described the Afghan mission as a “biggest assistance” in NATO history.
Biden has long been liked from Afghanistan, on the grounds that the US-led NATO mission has achieved the core objectives of accountability for attacks on September 11, 20 years ago this week and that the United States may not invest blood or further treasure in sustaining a weak government.
Blinken said that Washington would work with allies to mobilize diplomatic and economic leverage in Afghanistan even after the end of the American longest war.
“I think one frequently made mistake is to somehow equalize our involvement in whatever we do with the number of American boots that we have on uniformed land,” Blinken told reporters in Qatar.
“We have a broader definition of what involvement means.” In 2019, foreign donors led by the United States provide 75 percent of public expenditure in Afghanistan, one of the poorest countries in the world.
The economy of the country is getting worse since the collapse of the government supported by the West.
