Blinken also said that the government formed by the Taliban must respect the basic rights of Afghanistan.
“The United States will continue to use economic, diplomatic and political instruments to support the rights of the people of Afghanistan, especially women and women, and to ensure that Afghanistan is not a safe place for terrorism,” said the statement.
Allies and other partners who attend the Minister’s Meeting are representatives of Germany, Australia, Bahrain, Canada, France, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Norway, Pakistan, Qatar, Republic of Korea, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, England, Uzbekistan, EU, NATO, and the United Nations.
