Mangaluru: Dakshina District Administration Kannada has decided to bind Booth Level Officials (Blos) to identify citizens who are not vaccinated using roll selection.
Commissioner Kesus K V Rajendra said that the district had more than 17.5 lakh voters.
“The Blo must visit all voters in their respective regions, and identify unvaccinated voters.
Furthermore, they must regulate vaccinations for those who have not received a dose,” DC directed blos and other officials at the virtual meeting on Friday.
He directed 1,861 BLO and 186 supervisors in Dakshina Kannada to visit houses in their respective regions.
“Officials must carry out the verification of the selection of rolls and identification of vaccination status of beneficiaries who meet the requirements simultaneously.
They must find residents above 18, which are not registered in the voter list, and take the initiative to give them voter rights by obtaining form 6.
Meanwhile, Officials must collect information about all beneficiaries that meet the requirements above 15 in each house.
