B’luru: 2 suspects in the case of shooting investors

Bengaluru: Two murder suspects, who were arrested on Monday after they tried to give up in court, were shot when they tried to escape from police detention on Tuesday morning.
Rowdy Mahesh, 29, Siddapura and his colleague Naveen, 28, from Adugodi – who was arrested for the murder of the N Madan investors, 44, outside the Temple of Banashankari in Jayanagar on July 2 – tried to escape when they were taken for Spot Mahazar.
, Harish Pandey, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), said the defendant was taken for weapons recovery near Nagagowdanapalya, Uttarahalli.
The duo attacked Chandan Kale’s sub-inspector and the Laxmanachar assistant.
Police Inspector Jayanagar Sudarshan HV and Srinivas ACP division open fire at their feet.
Both were taken to Jayanagar Hospital.
On Monday, seven people, wearing advocate clothes, arrested when they gave up before the court.
