Bengaluru: City Police took the help of Indiranagar doctor to arrest Jaisingh Rajput, desired by Mumbai police for allegedly sent threats to Aaditya Thackeray, son of Maharashtra’s head.
Police Crime Crime Mumbai contacted D Devaraj, DCP, Whitefield, looking for his cooperation to arrest Rajput, 34, who allegedly sent a message that threatened to Aaditya on December 8 on December 8.
Rajput allegedly blamed Aador Singh Rajput and issued a threat.
The location was traced to the Whitefieldmumbai police learned that Rajput had sent a message from Bengaluru, tracking its location to Whitefield, and looking for local police help.
A team formed by Devaraj identified a doctor in Indiranagar related to Rajput, which came from Kalaburagi District.
The police questioned the doctor, who allegedly told them that he used to buy marijuana from Rajput.
Next, in the direction of the police, he called Rajput and ordered medicine.
Rajput agreed to give it to him in the Hagadur area on December 18 and the police held the rajput on the same day and handed it to Mumbai police.
Bengaluru police said Rajput had lived in Whitefield for several years.
