Bengaluru: The call from the police on Saturday night was all who took cloud of despair towers at Villa Techie in Vishwanathapura, near Devanahalli, to clean.
The call brought the good news of The Techie and his wife was waiting for three months: Three of their stolen diamond rings, including what he gave to prospective wives when he proposed him at the Eiffel Tower in Paris in 2007 and two others used during their marriage, had recovered.
The recovery is coincidental luck: the police in the trail of break-in at a cellphone shop in Nagabhavi on July 17 this year landed on the suspect, Security House Manjunath E in Nandigrama near Nandi Hills.
Police explore the house found three diamond rings worth Rs 22 lakh.
“More than their value, the ring has a high emotional value for us.
I have presented a ring to my wife when I propagated it.
The other two were wedding rings.
When the police featured them to us on video calls, we had tears in our eyes .
We thank them.
My wife has lost hope to get it back, “said Techie Toi.
They will get a ring back after the court procedure is cleaned.
Manjunath has escaped with two new cellphones and 1.3 lakh Rs from the Nagabarhavi store.
