B’luru: Doorstep shipping service launched

Bengaluru: Commemorating the 66th Kannada RajyatsaVA, the Karnataka Government on Monday launched the delivery of 56 government services in Bengaluru under the Janasevaka program.
Head of Minister of Balasavaraj Bommai inaugurated the Janasevaka program in the election of Malleswaram and said the government would expand the same thing throughout Karnataka from January 26, 2022.
Launched based on pilots in 2019, the program was expanded to four constituencies in the City – Dasarahalli, Bommanahalli, Rajajinagar and Mahadevpura and Mahadevpura Then at Yeshwanthpura in January 2021.
The pilot project alone saw 93,000 applications raised until now.
It was postponed during the Covid-19 pandemic and continued from the beginning of this year with a Covid-10 safety protocol managed.
On Monday, it was effectively launched in all 27 segments in Bengaluru City (not aneccelled) with 58 services in six major departments involving the government for residents’ services.
These departments include income, BBMP, Karnataka building, and other construction workers’ welfare councils, police verification by Karnataka Police, Uidai (Aadhar Card), Arogya Karnataka Health Card, Senior Citizens and App Cards.
This service is provided by the government with additional shipping costs Rs 115 (excluding departmental service fees).
Service will be available on all days between 8am and 8 nights.
People can now contact Janasevaka call center with number 080-44554455 or use cellphones mobile applications.
People can also enter www.janasevaka.karnataka.gov.in to order their services for the door shipment.
Launching the program, CM Bommai said the Concept of Janasevaka has also begun to give a ration to the BPL family in front of their door to ensure citizen friendly governance.
“The Janasevaka program is the beginning of the efforts of the Karnataka government to minimize the service delivery system that is bureaucratic, where ordinary people have to pay more than the cost of actual services to complete their work.
We expand it to even the shipping of the ration under the public distribution system in the state,” he said .
CM Bommai walked to certain houses in the Malleswaram Rajmahal Guthalam ward to provide documents sought by people under the JANASEVAK scheme as a symbolic movement to inaugurate the program.
It is separate, the government also launched online shipping 30 service department transportation including bond with 10 large four-wheeled and two-wheeled dealers for vehicle registration.
“As approximate there are 60 lakhians who visit RTOS in the state every day to complete their work.
We intend to reduce these numbers by making service people directly in their homes,” CM said.
CM Bommai also launched Janaspandana’s call center which was updated under 1902 to provide details of services and benefits available.
The main service is now available at Doorstepsarogya Health Card Income, Caste, Holding Land, Bonafied, Ratification of Domicile Family Tree Solvability, Old Residence Certificate, Widow, Handicap Victims and Pension Unemployment Acid and No Government Job Certificate Certificate of Verification of Brother Surakha for Domestic Hambari and the purpose of Khata Transfer Khata and Bisifurcation Certificate Application for Ransum App Card Holders
