B’luru: Girl, Girlfriend Detained for Stealing Cash, Gold

Bengaluru: A 20-year-old diploma student and his friend, an employee of a private company, has landed in police custody on charges of stealing gold and cash from the former home in Bagalagunte.
On December 5, the student father, a factory worker, filed a police complaint accusing his daughter and his boyfriend of theft.
According to the police source, the investigation revealed that the duo stole money and gold to buy expensive items.
According to the complainant, stolen articles including gold ornaments weighing 130 grams and Rs 1.1 lakh in cash.
“We have taken gold and cash during Pooja Varamahalakshmi and put them in the closet,” read his complaint.
The theft was noted on November 29.
“Initially, we searched all over the house.
Then we realized that someone from our own family had stolen them..
Slowly, I realized it was none other than my daughter and her boyfriend who stole them,” said the father.
After the parents asked the girl repeatedly, she was suspected of admitted.
When they called a boyfriend, he lost.
“The girl claimed to have acted on the direction of her boyfriend.
We trace the boy and hold it back.
Both of them claim to be crime and we will see how we can recover from them,” said an officer.
