Bengaluru: A man, his wife and girlfriend had been arrested for accusations to kill the 10-year-old son of marriage couple and tried to cover the same thing.
Sunil Kumar, 30, allegedly killed his son in front of his girlfriend Nadia on February 7 and the trio wasted the body in the Nadu Tamil forest.
The three are residents of Gurappanapalya.
Kumar, an employee of a private company, filed a complaint of people who were missing with the Mico layout police in the Southeast Division on August 26.
He claimed that his son had disappeared from his friend’s house on February 7.
“We were surprised to hear from Kumar that his son.
Lost in February and he filed a complaint only in August.
We immediately suspicious and feel there is a violation game involved because there is no parent who will wait for six months to complain about his lost child,” said an investigation officer.
Kumar has worked in a different private company, while his wife Sindhu, 26, was employed with a garment factory.
Nadiya, who from Channapatna, also works in the same factory.
When receiving complaints, the police began to question neighbors, family members, and friends of Kumar and Sindhu.
During the investigation, Kumar’s extra affair with Nadia was revealed.
Also, Kumar was found to make a contradictory statement about his friend’s house from where he claimed his son was gone.
“Kumar’s friend claimed he was innocent and the boy had never visited his house.
We then interrogated Kumar and tone and they spilled the beans about the murder,” the officer said.
He added Kumar had destroyed his son’s head with a metal pipe and other hard objects in his house on February 7 night.
“Sindhu had objected to Kumar’s business in the tone.
That night, Kumar’s son was said to also speak something that made Kumar angry.
In anger, he killed him when Nadiya watched,” the officer said.
Explaining why Sindhu was arrested, the police said to him returned from the work that night, Kumar and Nadiya claimed to be about the crime.
