Bengaluru: Miscrelanje is unknown to drive a sports utility vehicle from a parking lot in Ashoknagar by displaying an old valet parking receipt after damaging the dates and vehicle registration numbers mentioned in the slip.
The incident occurred on November 5 at a pub in McGrath Road when Ramesh (name changed), 26, a private company employee from Banashankari, visited with three friends.
The pub staff took the key to the Ramesh Toyota Innova Crysta, said they would park it.
A slip, containing vehicle numbers and Ramesh contact numbers, handed over to him.
At 10:45 a.m., Ramesh and his friends were preparing to leave the pub and asked the valet parking staff to hand over the key.
“What surprised me, the staff answered said someone had taken the key and vehicle,” Ramesh said.
He looked for an explanation from the pub staff, asked how other people drove the vehicle when the slip was with him.
A short question revealed an unknown man in his 30s, wearing a face mask, has produced an old slip by changing the date and vehicle number and expelling around 9:45 a.m.
Staff from the parking lot failed to notice that the receipt was damaged.
Immediately, Ramesh submitted a complaint to the Ashoknagar police and the examination near the CCTV footage revealed how concessions drove by showing old slips.
“Staff from Guilty Valet Parking.
If they carefully check the slip, they will realize it’s old.
Harassment looks to drive a vehicle with a maximum speed of the parking lot,” said an officer.
Asked how concessions managed to get old slips, the police said: “The staff will throw the slip that is returned by the vehicle owner after the pub is closed at night.
Harassment has collected them and seems to have been waiting until the vehicle has a number that resembles one on the slip.
Slip it almost Three weeks, “he said.
