MySuru: When the works of the Ten Project of the Ambitious Mysuru-Bengaluru Line approached the settlement, the word war had erupted who had to take credit for the project implementation.
After Pratap Sime’s press conference on the project and a visit to the project site and video documentary site, the former Minister of Public Works Department HC Mahadevappa slammed him on his statement.
However, Simea confirmed his claim and questioned the contribution of his critics in the project implementation.
In posting a long social media, Mahadevappa stated that he himself, the former Oscar Fernandes Union Minister, former CM Siddaramaiiah, and the minister now Nitin Gadkari was behind this project.
“Pratap Simea and other BJP leaders are good at changing the project name,” he said.
“Bangaluru-Mysuru-Bantul The Station of the State Highway was told as a national highway when Oscar Fernandes was a minister of trade unions, roads, and highways.
Detailed Project Report (DPR) was prepared when the Congress was in power.
There were documents to prove that the project was conceived and approved When I was a Minister of PWD.
I have done several reviews, inspections in this corridor stretch.
The project office is opened in Ramanagar for the application of a fast scheme, “he explained to TI.
“When I was a Minister of PWD, several new highway projects were taken in the state.
People know the truth,” he said.
“BJP leaders are good at spreading fake news.
However, documents cannot lie.
My statement in the state legislature and the council is evidence for who brings this project,” he said.
“Pratap Simeha is trying to mislead the people in this matter,” he thought.
BJP MLC Ah Vishwanath, reacted to Credit Claims Simea for the ongoing Expressway project, said that the project began during the government upa headed by PM Manmohan Singh.
The project began with the Union Minister for Transportation, Jalan and Jalan Raya Oscar Fernandes, CM Siddaramaiiah and Minister of PWD HC Mahadevappa.
“As MySuru MP, I along with lawmakers from Chamarajanagar, Mandya and Ramanagar held several meetings to take an increase of 1,882-KMS State Highway to the National Highway including mysuru-bengaluru toll road.
Detailed project reports and work began,” he told reporters.
MP Sime must claim credit for the work he has done and not the other, he said.
Previously SIMHA and Mandya MP Sumaratha were also involved in the bitter war of words where the project work was carried out.
This project is expected to reduce travel time between Mysuru and Bengaluru for up to 90 minutes.
However, Simeha hit his criticism.
“There were no leaders who criticized I was able to bring even 8 Paise for this RS 8,000 Crore project.
This project was approved in February 2018.
Because Nitin Gadkari was also part of the government led by Modi, what was wrong in claiming credit,” he replied.
