Bengaluru: The National Law School of the University of India (NLSII) will introduce a three-year LLB program that will be open to graduates from any discipline.
This qualification program is different from LLM which is open only for candidates who have a bachelor’s degree in law.

After a successful experiment with the LLB program five years past 30 years ago, NLSIU will launch the program, ‘Interdisciplinary 3 years LLB is embedded in the learning pedagogy experience’ in July 2022.

This institution will look for 12 hectares of land from the government to increase their students to 2,200 of the current 660 and faculty strength by 115 of 40.
NLSII plans to build 90,000 Sqft classrooms and study rooms, and 2.50,000 sqft from housing facilities.
As announced in the inclusion plan and expansion of 2021-25, NLSII will bring reservations for OBC, EWS and women too, regardless of the Karnataka domicile quota that has been introduced.
