Bengaluru: Many passengers at the Vidhana Soudha Metro station are surprised to see environmental maps with detailed main roads, places and other landmarks in the area.
They can also scan the QR code to get more detail than the surrounding area.
BMRCL plans to install such a map at all metro stations.
“You should have information about the main places inside and around the station.
Namma Metro has been operating since 2011 and should have been done before,” said Swathy Krishna, a regular passenger.
However, BMRCL has not installed a metro feeder bus timing at the station.
Toi has brought an article, ‘BMRCL to install the area map, Timing Bus across the Metro station on January 9.
Many passengers say the facility will be useful, especially for tourists.
