BMC asked Ganeshotsav who returned to undergo a covid test

Mumbai: Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has asked people to undergo Covid-19 tests to return to the city from their home town after the GanPati Festival, as a precaution, said an official on Saturday.
The Civic’s body has established 266 centers offering free RT-PCR tests to people who have returned to Mumbai after celebrating the GanPati Festival, said Supplementary City Commissioner (Western Suburbs) Suresh Kakani.
“The next 15 days are very important.
BMC has established 266 centers offering free RT-PCR tests for those who have returned to Mumbai after the ganpati festival.
People will get the test results sent to their homes,” Kakani said.
Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar said, “People must be careful because they will come into contact with others in their hometown.
There is a test center, which must be used by people.

Mumbai on Friday reported 434 fresh Covid-19 cases and three victims who took infection counting to 7.37,164 and the toll of 16.042.
