Mumbai: Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for power plants and purchases in hybrid solar power plants proposed in Hinduhraysamrat Shivsenapramukh Ballasaheb Thackeray Central Vaitarna Reservoir on Sunday.
The MoU was signed between BMC and Vactarna Solar Hydro Power Genco Private Limited in front of the Cabinet Minister Aaditya Thackeray.
Under this project, 100 mega watts of electricity will be produced and the same thing will take 31 months to solve it.
