Mumbai: The State Election Commission (SEC) has said that the design of the electoral environment in Mumbai for the upcoming BMC poll will be published and suggestions and objections will be called before finishing.
The SEC told Congress in a written response that the limits of the final environment would be published after considering feedback.
In a written reply to the Corporator Corporator Ravi Raja, which is the opposition leader at BMC, Deputy Sec Commissioner Avinash Sanas has said that the draft environmental boundaries will be published in state sheets and suggestions and objections will be called to them.
“Suggestions and objections will be examined and the limits of the final environment will be published.
After the draft environmental boundaries are published, and suggestions and objections are called, the same thing must be submitted,” Sanas told the King in a letter last week.
The king has accused that ahead of the 2017 BMC poll, the state-led state-led government has directed that environmental boundaries are changed to help BJP candidates.
“In 2017, the state changed the election environment that BJP favored in at least 40 to 50 constituencies.
This is unfair,” King wrote.
