MUMBAI: The Mumbai civic body position committee has declared the creation of this Mumbai Parking Authority to offer convenient, secure and inexpensive parking facilities at town that’s facing a space crunch.
As per a release issued by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Sundaythe creation of this jurisdiction was advocated from the Development Control and Promotion Legislation (2034), to govern both the on-street along with off-street parking at town.
“Back in Mumbai, the issue of parking is becoming worse .
To address this issue, it’s essential to give convenient, secure and inexpensive parking lots in public areas correctly,” the release stated.
The standing committee urged by Yashwant Jadhav has eliminated the proposal to appointing external providers and specialist panels to be able to take necessary actions for setup of the parking capacity, ” the release stated.
Former IAS officer Ramanath Jha was appointed as an adviser with this particular process, although the Tata Institute of Social Science will ease the assistance of specialists in related disciplines, it stated.
The BMC’s further municipal commissioner (jobs ) was appointed since the railroad commissioner for preparing the jurisdiction, the release stated.
