BMC officials said the architect from Rachna Sansad School of Design and Civic Engineers was completing a plan.

While BMC encourages more cycle tracks, cyclists and mobility experts have shown that building a cycle track will not be enough to promote cycling in the city.
Major Bicycle Mumbai Firoza Suresh said there must be a feasibility study of how the tracks will involve cyclists throughout the day.
“It will be like a BKC cycle track that doesn’t attract hardcore cyclists and the project finally fails,” he said.
He also underlined the need for “continuity plan”.
“One patch can help cyclist environment, but when you take a civilian ward and work on a network plan cycling with the right intersection, supervision, and continuity management of any part of the ward to another, it will encourage more cyclists to use Trek.

Pranav transportation experts ride praised the idea of the cycling track, but made the closure of events such as the equivalent road, and a weekend cycling line from NCPA to Worli.
He said if the cycling trail was seen as “recreational activities,” rather than transportation modes, it would not contribute to a healthier or safer city.
