Mumbai: In the midst of several fake and suspicious vaccination drives that came to the city, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had circulated a list of around 95 registered private vaccination centers who were eligible to manage Jab.
The Civic’s body has also informed that in terms of doubts, the designated Nodal officer for each drive must contact their neighborhood war room.
The rooms of the neighborhood war have been formed last year by BMC to help arrange hospital beds for Covid-19 patients who cannot find it, especially when the second wave of pandemics is at its peak.
The list of 95 centers includes all major hospitals in cities such as Bombay Hospital, Jaslok Hospital, HN Reliance Hospital, Candy Breach Hospital, Kokilaben Hospital, Fortis Hospital in Mulund, Holy Family Hospital and several other nursing homes.
The list of centers has been attached to many additional guidelines issued by BMC as part of the revised soup for vaccination in the housing and workplace society.
One of them also stated that it was the responsibility of the housing community to display details about the date of vaccination, the name of the Moving Covid-19 Vaccination Center (PCVC), and the cost per dose on the Public Announcement Board.
“Details about MoU, PCVC is involved in vaccination, vaccination date and costs per vaccine dose to be decided at the Committee Committee Meeting of the Community and Minutes of Meetings to be maintained and produced every time they are asked by competent authorities,” Civil Circular Countries.
Goregaon Corporator Srikala Pillai said that he suddenly witnessed in a hurry at the Civic vaccination center again.
“Even many people from high gains come to civil centers now with fears on whether the camps are held by original private centers or not.
The number of places where suspicious camps are held in all new cities increase,” Pillai said.
Civic Corporators said that people were forced to look for private camps because vaccines in the BMC center were most of the time run out.
BJP Corporator Atul Shah, who coordinated at the Civic Vaccination Center in a 160-year-old Bauug Candi compound at CP Tank Road in Bhuleshwar, said that in the center of the environmental level, BMC returned to provide 100 doses of vaccines every day.
“At the time of vaccination in the Civic Centers for those aged 18 years and over it has begun, it has very little dose.
Many people are forced to look for a private center to take Jab,” Shah said.
