Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Monday launched a public address system to provide guidance to patients Covid-19 in house isolation at a time.
The capital has more than 11,000 active cases today, including more than 90% in house isolation.
Through audio messages, BMC reaches patients to eliminate their fears and provide guidance on how to do themselves to reduce the impact of infection at home.
The message contains DOS and should not be done to follow the isolation of the house and when to contact the doctor.
“BMC drive to house isolation comes after the Ministry of Health leads it to educate people about dealing with the post-infection situation at home.
The message mostly asks people that they must be warned if the fever continues for three days and may not panic or buy The drug itself without consultation.
In the case of oxygen saturation, people must seek the advice of the doctors by calling Helpline (1929), “said Vice Commissioner BMC Suvendu Sahu.
Audio messages are also intended to educate people to follow rules of isolation strictly so that it examines infection in the group and in the family.
Although the number of infections in Bhubaneswar slightly down, BMC has created a detention zone in at least 20 companies (including housing complexes).
Audio messages have been designed in such a way that it will sound like a conversation between a patient and a doctor.
The message also detained people from using steroids and antibiotics without a doctor’s consultation.
The source said many people in the city visited the hospital or asked for hospitalization with small complications.
On the other hand, some people after developing severe diseases do not consult a doctor.
If one family member is infected, others catch infection in a short time, they said.
