BMTC Induction 190 Bus Friendly Bus

Bengaluru: In A First, Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) on Monday launched 190 electric buses and BS-VI.
Head of the Karnataka Minister Basavaraj Bommai marked the bus from Vidhana Soudha.
“We have formed two committees for the revival of the State Transportation Business (stus) and electrical utilities.
Pension IAS Officer Mr Srinivas Murthy will immediately submit a report on the resurrection of the Stus.
The Committee will provide recommendations about plugging the gun and increasing the service to change the favorable stus,” he said.

BMTC is a transportation utility managed by the first state in this country to conduct a trial for Bow-E in 2014.
While the plan was to spread 90 e-buses from June 2021, it was postponed for various reasons.
Similarly, 565 BS-VI buses were announced in the 2017-18 state budget, but things were postponed by cases at the National Green Tribunal.
The last time BMTC triggered a bus to his fleet on November 2019.

“It will be operated on three routes from Kengeri Depot: Kengeri-Banashankari, Kengeri-Electronics City, and Kengeri-Chikkabanawara,” said BMTC V Anbukumar Managing Director.
This 90 e-bus will be operated as a metro feeder service to provide first-mile connectivity and last-mile.
Bengaluru Smart City Ltd has provided RS 50 Crore financial assistance for operations.
“So far, 40 zeros and eco-friendly e-buses have been delivered; the rest will be deployed by January,” said Anbukmanar.
Of the 90 e-bus, 30 each will be operated from three depots: Yeshwantpur, Puram, and cengeri.
The bus-bus is 9m with 33 + 1 seat and is equipped with a vehicle tracking unit, CCTV, LED route display board, and emergency panic keys.
NTPC Vyapar Nigam Vyapar Ltd will operate these buses for 10 years with a dirty cost contract model with a level of Rs 51.67 per km with daily electricity for 180 km per bus.
150 BS-VI Diesel Bus is also BMTC officials say they are degrading 565 BS-VI Diesel Bus with the financial assistance of RS 191 Crore from the country.
BS-VI buses are environmentally friendly with low emissions.
“They have 41 + 1 seat with features such as emergency panic buttons, rear air suspension, and LED route display boards.
They will be deployed for old bus replacement and augmentation schedule.
So far, 150 buses have been sent; the rest will be deployed by February 2022, “said Anbukmanar.
He added that BMTC was canceling all old buses covering more than 9 lakh km or 11 years.
“We have identified 1,232 buses like that, including the BS-III.
Of these, 500 has been removed,” said anbukjar.
