BMTC Vajra AC Rates, Day Pass Rates Get Cheaper

Bengaluru: Volvo V-AC bus rates and pass day rates will be cheaper than Friday, and monthly pass levels from January 1.
Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) on Wednesday says Vajra tariffs will decrease by 34%.
While the minimum rate remains the same – Rs 10 for the first 2km (stage 1) – will drop from stage 4 (8km) – from Rs 30 to RS 25.
The maximum rate for 50 km (stage 25) will decrease from Rs 90 to RS 50.
Each stage is 2km.
BMTC also cut Vajra Day pass from Rs 120 to RS 100.
Similarly, the monthly pass level starting January 1 will be deducted from RS 2,000 (including GST) to RS 1,500.
However, there were no changes in the non-AC and Vayu Vayu Vayu Vayu.
Toi has brought the BMTC plan to cut Vajra’s tariffs and bait on December 12.
Moving to Slash Vajra Fares is a win-win situation for BMTC and passengers.
While the commuter was bored with the price of a surge in price and the last minute cancellation with application-based taxis and autorickshaws, especially during rush hour, the Vajra bus passenger, which mainly ran in its corridor, diminished since the pandemic hit.
Techies, regular on this bus, most work from long distances now.
Even so soaring diesel prices, this will be the second rate revision of the Vajra bus in the past.
The corporation has reduced AC bus rates by 20% on January 1, 2021.
90 New Vajra Buseson Friday, BMTC will introduce 90 new Vajra buses on 12 additional routes, from 83 buses with nine routes.
